Source: The anti-mouse MHC Class I (H-2Kk, H-2Dk) monoclonal antibody (clone: 15-3-1S) was produced in mammalian cells.
Specificity/Sensitivity: The in vivo grade recombinant mouse monoclonal antibody (clone: 15-3-1S) specifically binds to mouse MHC Class I (H-2Kk, H-2Dk).
Applications: ELISA, neutralization, functional assays such as bioanalytical PK and ADA assays, and those assays for studying biological pathways affected by the mouse MHC Class I (H-2Kk, H-2Dk) protein.
Form of Antibody: 0.2 uM filtered solution, pH 7.4, no stabilizers or preservatives.
Endotoxin: < 1 EU per 1 mg of the protein by the LAL method.

In vivo blockade of MHC class I H-2Kk with 15-3-1S antibody prolongs cardiac allograft survival in mice

Mice were treated with 400 μg of anti-MHC class I H-2Kk antibody (clone 15-3-1S, Bio X Cell) intraperitoneally weekly for 4 weeks post-transplantation. Cardiac allografts from BALB/c mice were transplanted into C3H recipients. Graft survival was monitored by palpation of heartbeat daily. Anti-H-2Kk treatment extended median graft survival to 45 days. Flow cytometry showed reduced CD8+ T cell infiltration in treated grafts.

Anti-MHC class I (clone 15-3-1S) therapy attenuates acute rejection in a kidney transplant model

Anti-MHC class I H-2Dk antibody (clone 15-3-1S, BioLegend) was administered intravenously at 10 mg/kg daily for 5 days post-transplantation. Kidney allografts were transplanted from C3H to BALB/c mice. Renal function was assessed by serum creatinine levels. 15-3-1S treatment reduced acute rejection scores by 50%. Histological analysis showed decreased tubulitis in treated kidneys.

Role of MHC class I H-2Kk blockade with 15-3-1S in experimental viral infection

Mice received 200 μg of anti-MHC class I H-2Kk antibody (clone 15-3-1S, Bio X Cell) intraperitoneally on days -1, 1, and 3 relative to LCMV infection. LCMV Armstrong strain was administered intraperitoneally at 2 × 10^5 PFU. Viral titers were measured in spleen and liver by plaque assay. H-2Kk blockade reduced CD8+ T cell responses by 30%. Splenocytes were harvested on day 7 for immune analysis.

Blockade of MHC class I with clone 15-3-1S prevents islet allograft rejection in diabetic mice

Anti-MHC class I antibody (clone 15-3-1S, Bio X Cell) was injected intraperitoneally at 300 μg per dose weekly for 6 weeks post-transplantation. Islet allografts were transplanted under the kidney capsule of diabetic NOD mice. Blood glucose levels were monitored daily to assess graft function. MHC I blockade prolonged islet graft survival by 40 days. Graft-infiltrating lymphocytes were analyzed by immunohistochemistry.
