Recombinant human IgG1 Monoclonal Antibody. Muromonab is the parental mouse anti-CD3 mAb (OKT3 or OKT-3); foralumab is the humanized version with the human IgG1 kappa constant regions with the Fc portion mutated such that the mAb is non FcR binding in vitro which exhibits only minor cytokine release in vivo while maintaining modulation of the CD3/TCR and T cell depletion when given I.V.
Clone: OKT3 or OKT-3.
Isotype: Human IgG1 kappa.
Source: The anti-human CD3 monoclonal antibody foralumab biosimilar was produced in mammalian cells.
Specificity/Sensitivity: The in vivo grade foralumab biosimilar specifically binds to the human T cell receptor CD3.
Applications: ELISA, neutralization, functional assays such as bioanalytical PK and ADA assays, and those assays for studying biological pathways affected by foralumab.
Form of Antibody: 0.2 uM filtered solution, pH 7.4, no stabilizers or preservatives.
Endotoxin: < 1 EU per 1 mg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity: >95% by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and HPLC.
Shipping: The research grade foralumab biosimilar is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.

Background
Foralumab Biosimilar uses the same protein sequences as the therapeutic antibody foralumab (humanized OKT3).
A fully human monoclonal antibody that binds to CD3 epsilon of the T cell receptor-CD3 complex, Foralumab (humanized OKT-3) is used as immunosuppressive therapy in kidney, heart, and liver transplant patients.
