Source: The recombinant Human Integrin alpha V beta 1 (ITGAV&ITGB1) Heterodimer Protein, (amino acids Phe31-Val992 (ITGAV) acidic tail & Gln21-Asp728 (ITGB1) basic tail) fused with a His-Avi tag at the C-terminus, was produced in HEK 293 cells.
Molecular Weight: The recombinant Human Integrin alpha V beta 1 (ITGAV&ITGB1) Heterodimer protein with the His-Avi tag at the C-terminus has a predicted MW of 114 kDa (ITGAV) and 83.2 kDa (ITGB1). Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 130-160 kDa (ITGAV) and 100-120 kDa (ITGB1) based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Human ITGAV&ITGB1 protein with the C-His-Avi tag at 2 ug/ml (100 ul/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for the recombinant Anti-alpha V Antibody protein with the C-hFc tag with the EC50 of 14.4 ng/ml determined by ELISA.
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human Integrin alpha V beta 1 (ITGAV&ITGB1) Heterodimer Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
