BP004984: Human IL-31 Protein with the N-His Tag
Source: The recombinant Human IL-31 Protein, (amino acids Ser24-Thr164) fused with a His tag at the N-terminus, was produced in HEK 293 cells.
Molecular Weight: The recombinant Human IL-31 protein with the His tag at the N-terminus has a predicted MW of 16.9 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 20-25 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Human IL-31 protein with the N-His tag at 5 ug/ml (100 ul/Well) on the plate. Dose response curve for the recombinant Human IL-31 RA protein with the N-hFc tag with the EC50 of 1.53 ug/ml determined by ELISA (QC Test). The affinity constant of 1.5 nM as determined in SPR assay (Biacore T200).
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human IL-31 Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
Shipping: The recombinant Human IL-31 Protein is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
