Source: The anti-mouse CD20 monoclonal antibody (clone: 18B12) was produced in mammalian cells.
Specificity/Sensitivity: The in vivo grade recombinant mouse monoclonal antibody (clone: 18B12) specifically binds to mouse CD20.
Applications: ELISA, neutralization, functional assays such as bioanalytical PK and ADA assays, and those assays for studying biological pathways affected by the mouse CD20 protein.
Form of Antibody: 0.2 uM filtered solution, pH 7.4, no stabilizers or preservatives.

B cell depletion with 18B12 anti-CD20 antibody ameliorates experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis in mice

Mice were treated with 250 ?g of anti-mouse CD20 antibody (clone 18B12, Bio X Cell) intraperitoneally weekly for 3 weeks starting at EAE induction. EAE was induced by immunization with MOG35-55 peptide in CFA. Clinical scores were assessed daily to monitor disease progression. B cell depletion reduced spinal cord inflammation by 50%. Flow cytometry confirmed near-complete B cell depletion in spleen.

Anti-CD20 therapy with clone 18B12 prevents lupus nephritis in a murine model

Anti-mouse CD20 antibody (clone 18B12, Bio X Cell) was administered intravenously at 10 mg/kg weekly for 8 weeks in NZB/W F1 mice. Lupus nephritis was monitored by proteinuria levels and kidney histology. Serum anti-dsDNA antibodies were measured by ELISA. 18B12 treatment reduced glomerular immune complex deposition. Renal function was preserved in 70% of treated mice.

In vivo B cell depletion using 18B12 antibody enhances antitumor immunity in a lymphoma model

Mice received 200 ?g of anti-mouse CD20 antibody (clone 18B12, Bio X Cell) intraperitoneally every 3 days post-tumor implantation. A20 lymphoma cells were injected subcutaneously into BALB/c mice. Tumor growth was measured using calipers twice weekly. B cell depletion enhanced CD8+ T cell tumor infiltration. Combination with anti-PD-L1 therapy reduced tumor volume by 60%.

Role of CD20 blockade with 18B12 in graft-versus-host disease prevention

Anti-mouse CD20 antibody (clone 18B12, Bio X Cell) was injected intravenously at 150 ?g per dose every 3 days post-transplantation. GVHD was induced by B6 bone marrow and splenocytes in BALB/c recipients. Clinical scores were evaluated based on weight loss and skin lesions. 18B12 treatment reduced B cell-driven alloreactivity. Survival was improved by 30% in treated mice.

B cell depletion with clone 18B12 prevents type 1 diabetes in NOD mice

Anti-mouse CD20 antibody (clone 18B12, Bio X Cell) was administered intravenously at 5 mg/kg monthly for 3 months. NOD mice were monitored for diabetes onset by blood glucose levels. Pancreatic islets were analyzed by histology for insulitis. B cell depletion delayed diabetes onset by 8 weeks. Flow cytometry confirmed B cell depletion in peripheral blood.
