Source: The recombinant Mouse IL-2 R alpha/CD25 Protein, (amino acids Glu22-Lys236) fused with a His tag at the C-terminus, was produced in HEK 293 cells.
Molecular Weight:The recombinant Mouse IL-2 R alpha/CD25 protein with the His tag at the C-terminus has a predicted MW of 25.76 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 50-70 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Mouse IL-2 R alpha protein with the C-His tag at 5 ug/ml (100 ul/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for the recombinant Biotinylated Mouse IL-2 protein with the C-His tag with the EC50 of 0.21 ug/ml determined by ELISA (QC Test). The affinity constant of 30.49 nM as determined in SPR assay (Biacore T200).
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Mouse IL-2 R alpha/CD25 Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
