Introduction
IL3 is a potent growth promoting cytokine. This cytokine is capable of supporting the proliferation of a broad range of hematopoietic cell types. It is involved in a variety of cell activities such as cell growth, differentiation and apoptosis. This cytokine has been shown to also possess neurotrophic activity, and it may be associated with neurologic disorders.

A non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 154 amino acids fragment (20-152) and having a total molecular mass of 17.3 kDa and fused with a 20 aa N-terminal His tag.
The ED50 for this effect is <0.53 ug/ml. Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF1 human erythroleukemic cells.
Purity: > 90% by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Interleukin-3 His (1 ug/ml) is supplied in 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.2 mM PMSF and 10% glycerol.
