Introduction
IL3 is a potent growth promoting cytokine. This cytokine is capable of supporting the proliferation of a broad range of hematopoietic cell types. It is involved in a variety of cell activities such as cell growth, differentiation and apoptosis. This cytokine has been shown to also possess neurotrophic activity, and it may be associated with neurologic disorders.

A single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 140 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 16 kDa.
N-terminal sequence analysis: Met-Ser-Asp-Arg-Gly.
The ED50 = 3-10 ug/ml corresponding to a specific activity of 100,000-333,334 IU/mg determined by the dose dependent proliferation of murine NFS-60 cells.
Purity: > 95% by SDS-PAGE and RP-HPLC.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 1ug/ml solution without any additives.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Interleukin 3 in sterile 18 M?-cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
