Introduction
IL3 is a potent growth promoting cytokine. This cytokine is capable of supporting the proliferation of a broad range of hematopoietic cell types. It is involved in a variety of cell activities such as cell growth, differentiation and apoptosis. This cytokine has been shown to also possess neurotrophic activity, and it may be associated with neurologic disorders.

A glycosylated monomer, having a molecular weight range of 17-45 kDa due to glycosylation.
The activity was determined by the dose dependent stimulation of the proliferation of human TF-1 cells (human erythroleukemic indicator cell line) and is typically 0.5-2 ug/ml.
Purity: > 90% as obsereved by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The IL3 was lyophilized from 1 mg/ml in 1xPBS.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IL-3 in sterile water not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
