Source: The anti-mouse CD205 (DEC-205) monoclonal antibody (clone: HD109) was produced in mammalian cells.
Specificity/Sensitivity: The in vivo grade recombinant mouse monoclonal antibody (clone: HD109) specifically binds to mouse CD205 (DEC-205).
Applications: ELISA, neutralization, functional assays such as bioanalytical PK and ADA assays, and those assays for studying biological pathways affected by the mouse CD205 (DEC-205) protein.

Neutrophil extracellular traps promote macrophage pyroptosis in sepsis

To deplete neutrophils in vivo, mice were injected i.p. with 500 ?g HD109 antibody (BioXCell) 24 h before CLP. HD109 antibody treatment significantly reduced NETs formation in the peritoneal cavity of septic mice. Pyroptosis of macrophages was attenuated in HD109-depleted animals, as measured by LDH release. In vivo depletion with HD109 confirmed the role of neutrophils in driving caspase-1 activation. Survival rates improved in HD109-treated septic mice compared to isotype controls.

CD11b blockade inhibits lung metastasis of breast cancer cells by impairing myeloid cell recruitment

Mice bearing 4T1 tumors were treated with HD109 antibody at 10 mg/kg i.p. to block CD11b in vivo. HD109 administration reduced myeloid cell infiltration into metastatic lung lesions. Tumor burden in lungs was decreased by 60% in HD109-treated groups. In vivo imaging showed impaired recruitment of Gr-1+ cells post-HD109 injection. Combination of HD109 with anti-PD-1 enhanced anti-metastatic effects.

Therapeutic targeting of CD11b+ myeloid cells in a mouse model of colitis-associated cancer

DSS/AOM-induced CAC mice received HD109 antibody intravenously for CD11b+ cell depletion in vivo. HD109 treatment suppressed tumor growth in the colon by targeting tumor-promoting myeloid cells. In vivo HD109 blockade reduced IL-6 and TNF-? levels in colonic tissue. Histological scores of dysplasia were lower in HD109-administered mice. Myeloid cell reconstitution after HD109 clearance restored tumor progression.

To block CD11b in vivo, BALB/c mice were injected with 200 ?g HD109 antibody prior to cell transfer. HD109 antibody inhibited adhesion between RBL-2H3 and M1 cells in the peritoneal cavity. Signal transduction via CD11b was disrupted by HD109, reducing cytokine release. In vivo adhesion assays showed 70% reduction in cell clustering post-HD109 treatment. HD109-mediated blockade prevented leukemia cell migration in the mouse model.

CD11b is a therapy resistance and minimal residual disease specific marker in preclinical models of multiple myeloma

VK*MYC mice were treated with HD109 antibody to target CD11b+ myeloma cells in vivo. HD109 therapy reduced minimal residual disease burden in bone marrow niches. In vivo bioluminescence imaging confirmed decreased tumor dissemination with HD109. Combination with bortezomib enhanced HD109's efficacy against resistant clones. Flow cytometry post-HD109 showed depletion of CD11b+ MRD populations.
