Description

Introduction
Human TNFSF10 is a type II transmembrane protein with an intracellular N-terminus and a TNF homology domain(THD) at the extracellular C terminus. TNFSF10 can interact with several distinct receptors. Two of these receptors that belongs to TNFR superfamily, DR4 (TRAIL-R1) and DR5 (TRAIL-R2/TRICK2), are plasma membrane proteins containing intracellular death domains essential for activating apoptosis. TNFSF10 is promising for cancer therapy because it is cytotoxic and activates apoptosis in the majority of malignant cells, but not in normal cells.

BP000129-C022: Recombinant Human Tumor Necrosis Factor Ligand Superfamily Member 10 (TNFSF10) Protein

Source: E. coli-derived.
Recombinant Human Tumor Necrosis Factor Ligand Superfamily Member 10 (TNFSF10) Protein is expressed with sequence (T39-G281) of Human TNFSF10.
The ED50 as determined by the cytolysis of murine L929 cells in the presence of Actinomycin D is less than 2 ug/ml, corresponding to a Specific Activity of 5.0 x 106 IU/mg.
Purity: > 95% by RP-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 150 mM NaCl.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.
1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
