Introduction
Stromal Cell-derived.Factor-1 (SDF-1) is a chemokine member of the intercrine family. SDF1 is expressed as five isoforms that differ only in the C terminal tail. SDF1? and SDF1? are identical except for the four residues present in the C-terminus of SDF1? but absent from SDF1?. SDF1 isoforms interact with CXCR4 and CXCR7 receptors on the cell surface, and can also bind syndecan4. SDF1 is known to influence lymphopoiesis, regulate patterning and cell number of neural progenitors, and promote angiogenesis. It also enhances the survival of myeloid progenitor cells.

A non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 78 amino acids, having a molecular mass of 9.2 kDa.
Purity: > 95% by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The protein was filtered (0.4 um) and lyophilized from a concentrated (0.5 ug/ml) solution containing 20 mM Tris buffer pH-7.5 and 20 mM sodium chloride.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to add deionized water to a working concentration approximately 0.5 ug/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. Product is not sterile! Please filter the product by appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.
Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
