Introduction
PLGF is a growth factor active in angiogenesis, and endothelial cell growth, stimulating their proliferation and migration. It binds to receptor vegfr-1/flt1. PLGF-2 binds neuropilin-1 and 2 in a heparin-dependent manner.

A homodimer, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 2 x 152 amino acids and having a total molecular mass of 44 kDa.
Recombinant human PlGF-2 can bind to immobilized rh-sFlt-1 (100 ng/well) with a linear range at 0.3?0 ug/ml.
Purity > 80%, by SDS-PAGE and RP-HPLC.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a concentrated (1 ug/ml) solution containing BSA.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Placenta Growth Factor 2 in sterile 20 mM acetic acid not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
