Introduction
Prefoldin Subunit 4 ( PFDN4 ) is a heterohexameric chaperone protein that belongs to the prefoldin subunit beta family. The complex of PFDN4, consisting of two PFD-alpha type and four PFD-beta type subunits, forms a double beta barrel assembly with six protruding coiled-coils. PFDN4 binds and stabilizes newly synthesized polypeptides, thereby allowing them to fold correctly.

Recombinant Human PFDN4 protein is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 154 amino acids (1-134.a.a) and having a molecular mass of 17.4 kDa. PFDN4 protein is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 90% by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The PFDN4 protein solution (1 ug/ml) is formulated in 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH7.5), 50 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT and 10% glycerol.
