Introduction
Prefoldin Subunit 4 ( PFDN4 ) is a heterohexameric chaperone protein that belongs to the prefoldin subunit beta family. The complex of PFDN4, consisting of two PFD-alpha type and four PFD-beta type subunits, forms a double beta barrel assembly with six protruding coiled-coils. PFDN4 binds and stabilizes newly synthesized polypeptides, thereby allowing them to fold correctly.

Recombinant Human Prefoldin subunit 4 (PFDN4) Protein is expressed with sequence (Met1-Ser134) of Human PFDN4 fused with a 6His tag at the N-terminus.
Purity: > 95% by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.2.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipping: The product is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
