Description

Background
P-Glycoprotein,, also known as Multidrug Resistance 1 (MDR1), is one of the ATP-binding cassette transporters family. P-glycoprotein-1 is involved in the transport of 3 of these protease inhibitors in vitro.MDR1 gene is mapped to the 7q21.1 by in situ hybridization. The MDR1 gene product, P glycoprotein, mediates the transport of the cardiac glycoside, digoxin.

PA000080-R12-2304: P-glycoprotein Polyclonal Antibody

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody.
Specificity/Sensitivity: P-glycoprotein antibody detects endogenous levels of P-glycoprotein.
Applications: IHC: 1:50~1:100; ELISA: 1:10000.
Reactivity: Human, Rat, Mouse.
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human P-glycoprotein.
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation.
Form of Antibody: Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Isotype: Rabbit IgG.

Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
