Introduction
Nucleolar protein 3 is encoded by NOL3 gene, Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. So far, Nucleolar protein 3 has show to have two Isoforms. Isoform 1 may be involved in RNA splicing. Isoform 2 may inhibit apoptosis. It has been shown to down-regulate the enzyme activities of caspase 2, caspase 8 and tumor protein p53.

Recombinant Human Nucleolar protein 3 (NOL3) is a single polypeptide chain containing 231 amino acids (1-208) and having a molecular mass of 25.0 kDa. Recombinant Human Nucleolar protein 3 (NOL3) is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: >90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The NOL3 solution (1 mg/1 ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 100 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT, 1 mM EDTA and 10% glycerol.
