Description

Background
Mitogen-activated protein kinase 3 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the MAPK3 gene.[1]The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the MAP kinase family. MAP kinases, also known as extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs), act in a signaling cascade that regulates various cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and cell cycle progression in response to a variety of extracellular signals. This kinase is activated by upstream kinases, resulting in its translocation to the nucleus where it phosphorylates nuclear targets. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different protein isoforms have been described.[2]MAPK3 gene is mapped to human chromosome 16 by hybrid cell panel analysis.3

PA002270-ANT-023: MAPK3 Monoclonal Antibody

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody.
Applications: MAPK3 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot, and Immunofluorescence to assure specificity and reactivity. Since applications vary, however, each investigation should be titrated by a reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis and Immunofluorescence is 1:250 ~ 500. Recommended starting dilution is 1:500.
Reactivity: Human.
Immunogen: Anti-human MAPK3 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse FO myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human MAPK3 amino acids 1-137 purified from E. coli.
Purification: MAPK3 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.
Form of Antibody: 1 ug/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide.
Clone: PAT1A2AT.
Isotype: Mouse IgG2b.

Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
