Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody.
Specificity/Sensitivity: Histone H4 (Acetyl-Lys8) antibody detects endogenous levels of Histone H4 only when acetylated at lysine 8.
Applications: IHC: 1:50~1:100 IF: 1:500~1:1000 ELISA: 1:5000.
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat.
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized acetylated peptide derived from human Histone H4 around the acetylation site of lysine 8 (G-G-KP-G-L).
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific acetylated peptide. The antibody against non-acetylated peptide was removed by chromatography using non-acetylated peptide corresponding to the acetylation site.
Form of Antibody: Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
