Introduction
E2A is a transcription factor that plays major roles in determining tissue-specific cell fate during embryogenesis, like muscle or early B-cell differentiation. Heterodimers between E2A and tissue-specific basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) Dimers bind DNA on E-box motifs: 5'- CANNTG-3'. Binds to the kappa-E2 site in the kappa immunoglobulin gene enhancer. Deletions in E2A have been observed in a subset of pre-B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) cases. Two alternatively spliced human isoforms have been described.
PA001502-A8339: E2A (Phospho-Thr355) Polyclonal Antibody
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody.
Specificity/Sensitivity: E2A (Phospho-Thr355) antibody detects endogenous levels of E2A only when phosphorylated at threonine 355.
Applications: IHC: 1:50~1:100 ELISA: 1:5000.
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat.
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human E2A around the phosphorylation site of threonine 355 (P-S-TP-P-V).
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Form of Antibody: Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
