Anti-human IgG specific antibodies are useful in preclinical animal studies, such as pharmacokinetic (PK), especially if they do not react with non-human primate and murine IgG samples. There are both polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies for such applications.
Anti-human IgG specific polyclonal antibodies: IgG (Fc)-targeting and IgG (Intact / H+L)-targeting polyclonal secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and monkey-absorbed to minimize species cross-reactivity with monkey serum proteins.
Anti-human IgG specific monoclonal antibodies: They are screened not to recognize IgG isotypes from the non-human primate species such as rhesus and cynomolgus macaques. Ideally, they do not recognize mouse or rat IgG isotypes.
M252Y/S254T/T256E (YTE) mutations in the Fc region of human IgG antibodies can prolong the half-life of therapeutic antibodies, optimize the pharmacokinetic characteristics, and reduce the frequency of administration. Our recombinant rabbit anti-human IgG Fc (YTE mutation) specific monoclonal antibodies effectively capture and stably bind to human IgG Fc segment YTE mutants.
