Introduction
Cyclin E is a member of the cyclin family. Cyclin E binds to G1 phase Cdk2, which is required for the transition from G1 to S phase of the cell cycle that determines cell division. The Cyclin E/CDK2 complex phosphorylates p27Kip1 (an inhibitor of Cyclin D), tagging it for degradation, thus promoting expression of Cyclin A, allowing progression to S phase.

Specificity/Sensitivity: Cyclin E2 (Phospho-Thr392) antibody detects endogenous levels of Cyclin E2 only when phosphorylated at threonine 392.
Applications: IF: 1:500~1:1000 ELISA: 1:10000.
Reactivity: Human, Mouse.
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human Cyclin E2 around the phosphorylation site of threonine 392 (I-M-TP-P-P).
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Form of Antibody: Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
