Introduction
Cyclin-C is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CCNC gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the cyclin family of proteins. The encoded protein interacts with cyclin-dependent kinase 8 and induces the phosphorylation of the carboxy-terminal domain of the large subunit of RNA polymerase II. The level of mRNAs for this gene peaks in the G1 phase of the cell cycle. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
PA001362-A8334: Cyclin C (Phospho-Ser275) Polyclonal Antibody
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody.
Specificity/Sensitivity: Cyclin C (Phospho-Ser275) antibody detects endogenous levels of Cyclin C only when phosphorylated at serine 275.
Applications: WB: 1:500~1:1000 IHC: 1:50~1:100 ELISA: 1:5000.
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat.
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human Cyclin C around the phosphorylation site of serine 275 (N-G-SP-Q-N).
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Form of Antibody: Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
