Description

Introduction
The CD44 antigen is a cell-surface glycoprotein involved in cell?cell interactions, cell adhesion and migration. In humans, the CD44 antigen is encoded by the CD44 gene on Chromosome 11. CD44 is expressed in a large number of mammalian cell types. The standard isoform, designated CD44s, comprising exons 1?5 and 16?20 is expressed in most cell types. CD44 splice variants containing variable exons are designated CD44v. Some epithelial cells also express a larger isoform (CD44E), which includes exons v8?10.

PA001080-A0847: CD44 (Phospho-Ser706) Polyclonal Antibody

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody.
Specificity/Sensitivity: CD44 (Phospho-Ser706) antibody detects endogenous levels of CD44 only when phosphorylated at serine 706.
Applications: WB: 1:500~1:1000 ELISA: 1:20000.
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat.
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human CD44 around the phosphorylation site of serine 706 (S-K-SP-Q-E).
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Form of Antibody: Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
