Introduction
Btc is a potent mitogen for retinal pigment epithelial cells and vascular smooth muscle cells. The effects of beta cellulin are probably mediated by the egf receptor and other related receptors.

A single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 101 amino acids (32-111) and having a molecular mass of 11.3 kDa. BTC is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The BTC solution (0.25 ug/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 5 mM DTT, 0.2 M NaCl and 20% glycerol.
Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
