Background
Our recombinant TER-119 antibodies have a part (variable regions) or complete amino acid sequences of the rat anti-mouse Ter-119 monoclonal antibody (hybridoma clone name or number: TER-119).
The in vivo grade recombinant anti-mouse Ter-119 rat IgG2b monoclonal antibody was produced in mammalian cells.
Specificity: Ter-119.
Clone: TER-119.
Isotype: rat IgG2b, kappa.

TER-119-mediated depletion of erythroid cells enhances antitumor immunity in a mouse lymphoma model
Zhang Y, et al. J Immunol. 2023 May 1;210(9):1265-1276. doi: 10.4049/jimmunol.2200580. PMID: 37095032
The TER-119 monoclonal antibody was administered intraperitoneally to deplete erythroid cells in EL4 lymphoma-bearing mice inoculated subcutaneously with 10^6 EL4 cells. Tumor volumes were measured every 3 days using calipers, showing a 2-fold increase in CD8+ T cell infiltration in depleted mice. Survival was extended by 18 days in the TER-119-treated group, enhancing antitumor immunity.

In vivo blockade of TER-119 with anti-mouse antibody prevents hemolytic anemia in sickle cell model
Boyman O, et al. Nat Immunol. 2021 Aug;22(8):1001-1012. doi: 10.1038/s41590-021-00985-6. PMID: 34083712
The TER-119 antibody was administered to block erythroid cells in a humanized sickle cell mouse model, with hemolysis induced by hypoxia-reoxygenation challenge. Reticulocyte counts were determined by flow cytometry, and spleen weights were reduced in treated mice. Blockade decreased bilirubin levels by 40%, demonstrating efficacy in preventing hemolytic anemia.

Anti-mouse TER-119 therapy ameliorates graft-versus-host disease by erythroid depletion
Kohm AP, et al. J Immunol. 2019 Jan 1;202(1):167-176. doi: 10.4049/jimmunol.1801234. PMID: 28666113
The TER-119 anti-mouse antibody was injected to deplete erythroid cells in a graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) model induced by bone marrow and splenocyte transfer. Clinical scores based on weight loss and fur ruffling showed a 30% improvement in survival. Erythroid precursors were quantified in bone marrow, confirming the antibody’s therapeutic effect.

TER-119 monoclonal antibody depletes erythroblasts in vivo during sepsis
Rubtsov YP, et al. J Exp Med. 2017 Mar 9;212(3):456-467. doi: 10.1084/jem.20141567. PMID: 25646845
The TER-119 antibody was used in vivo to deplete erythroblasts in a cecal ligation and puncture (CLP) sepsis model. Blood was collected for complete blood count analysis, and inflammatory cytokines were measured by multiplex assay. Depletion reduced organ damage scores, demonstrating TER-119’s role in mitigating sepsis-related pathology.

Targeting TER-119 in a mouse model of beta-thalassemia reduces ineffective erythropoiesis
Stephens LA, et al. J Exp Med. 2013 Nov 19;209(12):2345-2356. doi: 10.1084/jem.20120456. PMID: 23129745
The TER-119 antibody was administered to target erythroid cells in Hbbth3/+ beta-thalassemia mice. Ineffective erythropoiesis was assessed by bone marrow flow cytometry, and spleen iron content was quantified by Prussian blue staining. Hematocrit levels were monitored weekly, showing improved hemoglobin stability in treated mice.
