Introduction
Vesicular overexpressed in cancer prosurvival protein 1 (VOPP1) has been previously shown to be over-expressed in human glioblastoma multiform and squamous cell carcinoma. VOPP1 is a crucial regulator of NF-kappaB signaling, and this high-level, amplification-mediated VOPP1 expression, such as that occurring in tumors with amplified EGFR, might impact the resistance to apoptosis.

Recombinant Human Vesicular overexpressed in cancer prosurvival protein 1 (VOPP1) Protein fused with a 21 amino acid His tag at N-terminus is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 112 amino acids (82-172 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 12 kDa. Recombinant Human Vesicular overexpressed in cancer prosurvival protein 1 (VOPP1) Protein is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The VOPP1 solution (0.5 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 1 mM DTT, 30% glycerol and 0.2 M NaCl.
