Introduction
UBE2N belongs to the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. UBE2N catalyzes the ATP-dependent synthesis of non-canonical polyubiquitin chains, a process which doesn? set in motion proteasomal degradation. UBE2N mediates the transcription of some target genes and is believed to have a role in cell cycle progression; cellular differentiation and DNA repair mechanisms which ensure cell survival after DNA damage.

A single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 172 amino acids (1-152a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 19.3 kDa. UBE2N is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus.
Purity: > 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: UBE2N solution (0.5 mg/ml) containing 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 20% glycerol, 0.1 M NaCl and 1 mM DTT.
