Introduction
Tyrosyl-tRNA synthetase (YARS) is a member of the class I tRNA synthetase family. YARS is a vital enzyme which catalyzes the aminoacylation of tRNATrp with tryptophan, a critical function of the cell protein synthesis machinery. Expression of YARS is highly stimulated in human cells by the addition of IFN-gamma.

A single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 548 amino acids (1-528 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 61.3 kDa. YARS is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus.
Purity: > 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: YARS protein solution (1 mg/ml) containing 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 1 mM DTT, 10% glycerol and 0.1 M NaCl.
