Description

Introduction
TDGF1 is an extracellular, membrane-bound signaling protein that is involved in embryonic development and tumor growth. Mutations in TDGF1 are associated with forebrain defects TDGF1 takes part in the determination of the epiblastic cells that later provide growth to the mesoderm.

BP000240-CYT-712: Recombinant Human Teratocarcinoma-derived.Growth Factor 1 (TDGF1)

Source: HEK293-F Cells-derived.
A single, glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 139 amino acids with a molecular weight of 17.8 kDa though on SDS-PAGE migrates at about 25 kDa due to the glycosilation.
In a functional ELISA, immobilized recombinant human Activin RIB/Fc chimera receptor (0.2 ug/ml) will bind TDGF1 with linear range of 0.8 to 100 ug/ml.
Purity > 95%, by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution containing no additives or preservatives.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized TDGF1 in sterile 18 M?-cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.
1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
