Introduction
SUMO3 belongs to the SUMO protein family and operates like ubiquitin. Nevertheless, unlike ubiquitin that targets proteins for degradation, SUMO3 protein takes part in several cellular processes, like nuclear transport, transcriptional regulation, apoptosis, and protein stability. SUMO3 regulates amyloid beta generation and is crucial in the onset or progression of Alzheimer disease.

Recombinant Human SUMO3 is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 112 amino acids (1-92a.a.) . SUMO3 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Predicted molecular mass: 12.6 kDa.
Purity: > 95% by reducing SDS-PAGE and SEC-HPLC.
Formulation: The SUMO3 protein solution (1 mg/ml) is formulated in 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) 0.1 M NaCl, 1 mM DTT and 20% glycerol.
