Introduction
SNRNP25 is a member of the small nuclear ribonucleoprotein core protein family. SNRNP25 is a component of the U12-type spliceosome which is found in some eukaryotes and removes U12-type introns that are rare and have distinct splice consensus signals. The U12-type spliceosome is comprised of several small nuclear RNAs and associated proteins.

Recombinant Human Small Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein 25 kDa (SNRNP25) protein is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 152 amino acids (1-132 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 17.4 kDa. Recombinant Human Small Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein 25 kDa (SNRNP25) protein is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: SNRNP25 protein solution (0.5 mg/ml) containing 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 20% glycerol, 2 mM DTT and 0.2 M NaCl.
