Introduction
SHC1 is a member of the SH2 domain family. SHC1 is vital to the regulation of apoptosis and drug resistance in mammalian cells. SHC1 is a signaling adapter which links activated growth factor receptors to signaling pathway. SHC1 is found in neural stem cells but not in mature neurons.

Recombinant Human SHC (Src homology 2 domain containing) transforming protein 1 (SHC1) Protein is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 494 amino acids (1-474) and having a molecular mass of 53.8 kDa. Recombinant Human SHC (Src homology 2 domain containing) transforming protein 1 (SHC1) Protein is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: SHC1 protein (1 mg/ml) is supplied in 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8, 2 mM DTT, 200 mM NaCl, 0.1 mM PMSF and 20% Glycerol.
