Introduction
SBDS is part of an extremely preserved protein family which exists from archaea to vertebrates and plants. SBDS protein functions in RNA metabolism and has a role in the biogenesis of the 60S ribosomal subunit and translational activation of ribosomes. Shwachman-Diamond syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive disorder produced by mutations in the SBDS gene.

Recombinant Human Shwachman-Bodian-Diamond Syndrome (SBDS) Protein is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 270 amino acids (1-250a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 30.9 kDa. Recombinant Human Shwachman-Bodian-Diamond Syndrome (SBDS) Protein is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The SBDS protein solution (0.5 mg/ml) is formulated in 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) 2 mM DTT, 50 mM NaCl, 0.1 mM EDTA, and 20% glycerol.
