Introduction
S100A9 is part of the S100 family of proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100A9 protein is localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of a wide range of cells, and participates in the regulation of several cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation. S100 genes include no less than 13 proteins which are localized as a cluster on chromosome 1q21. S100A9 is involved in the inhibition of casein kinase and altered expression of this protein is associated with the disease cystic fibrosis.

The Recombinant Human S100A9 has a molecular mass of 14.35 kDa containing 123 amino acid residues of the human S100A9 and fused to a 10 a.a. His tag at N-terminus.
Applications: Western blotting.
Formulation: S100A9 was filtered (0.4 um) and lyophilized in 0.5 mg/ml in 20 mM Tris and 50 mM NaCl, pH 7.5.
Reconstitution: It is recomended to add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5 mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. Product is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.
Shipping: The product is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
