Introduction
RTN4IP1 is a unique mitochondrial protein that interacts with reticulon 4, which is an effective inhibitor of regeneration ensuing spinal cord injury. The reticulon 4 interaction with mitochondrial proteins may offer insight into the mechanisms for reticulon-induced inhibition of neurite growth.

Recombinant Human Reticulon 4 Interacting Protein 1 (RTN4IP1) Protein is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 379 amino acids (41-396 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 41.4 kDa. RTN4IP1 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: RTN4IP1 protein solution (1 mg/ml) containing 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 20% glycerol and 1mM DTT.
