Introduction
Ribosomal protein S14 (RPS14) is a ribosomal protein, which is a member of the S11P family of ribosomal proteins. Ribosomes are the organelles which catalyze protein synthesis and composed of a small and a large subunit that consist of over 80 different ribosomal proteins. RPS14 is a component of the 40S subunit which localizes to the cytoplasm.

Recombinant Human RPS14 protein fused with a 23 amino acid His tag at N-terminus is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 174 amino acids (1-151 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 18.7 kDa. The RPS14 protein is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 80.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The RPS14 solution (0.25 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 1 mM DTT, 40% glycerol and 100 mM NaCl.
