Introduction
Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase-like 3 (PPIL3) belongs to the cyclophilin family which catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of peptidylprolyl imide bonds in oligopeptides. PPIL3 acts either as catalyst or as molecular chaperone in protein-folding events.
BP002505-ENZ-174: Recombinant Human Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase-like 3 (PPIL3) Enzyme
Source: E. coli-derived.
A single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 181 amino acids (1-161 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 20.3 kDa. PPIL3 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus.
Specific activity is > 280 nmoles/min/mg, and is defined as the amount of enzyme that cleaves 1 umole of suc-AAFP-pNA per minute at 25C in Tris-Hcl pH8.0 using chymotrypsin.
Purity: > 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: PPIL3 protein solution (1 mg/ml) containing 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 20% glycerol, 0.1 M NaCl and 1 mM DTT.
Shipping: The product is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
