Introduction
Pyruvate kinase is a key enzyme in the glycolytic pathway. The M2 isoenzyme of pyruvate kinase is specifically expressed at high levels in tumor cells, and can be measured in plasma of patients with advanced breast cancer. The marker is useful for measuring disease activity, sensitivity to chemotherapy and recurrence.

Applications: PKM2 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot and Immunofluorescence analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis and Immunofluorescence is 1:250 ~ 500. Recommended starting dilution is 1:250.
Reactivity: Human.
Immunogen: Anti-human PKM2 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human PKM2 amino acids 1-531 purified from E. coli.
Purification: PKM2 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.
Form of Antibody: 1ug/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide.
Clone: PAT4M3AT.
Isotype: Mouse IgG1.
Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
