Introduction
PIN2/TERF1-interacting telomerase inhibitor 1 also known as PINX1, LPTL and LPTS, belongs to the PINX1 family . PINX1 contains a G-patch domain and a Telomerase Inhibiting Domain that is caable of binding MCRS1, TERT and TERF1. PINX1 is widely expressed protein which localizes to nucleoli and telomere speckles. PINX1 can mediates TRF1 and TERT accumulation in nucleolus and enhances TRF1 binding to telomeres. PINX1 is recruited to chromosome periphery by Nucleolin, their complex is necessary for faithful chromosome congression. In addition, PINX1 may inhibit cell proliferation and act as tumor suppressor.

Recombinant Human PIN2/TERF1-Interacting Telomerase Inhibitor 1 (PINX1) Protein is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 348 amino acids (1-328 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 39.1 kDa. Recombinant Human PIN2/TERF1-Interacting Telomerase Inhibitor 1 (PINX1) Protein is fused to 20 amino acid His Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The PINX1 protein contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer pH 8, 1 mM DTT and 10% glycerol.
