Description

Introduction
PCYT2 is a member of the cytidylyltransferase family. PCYT2 is an enzyme which catalyzes the formation of CDP-ethanolamine from CTP and phosphoethanolamine in the Kennedy pathway of phospholipid synthesis. PCYT2 has the strongest expression in the liver, heart, and skeletal muscle.

A single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 409 amino acids (1-389) and having a molecular mass of 45.9 kDa. PCYT2 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus.
Purity: > 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The PCYT2 solution (0.25 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 20% glycerol, 0.1 M NaCl, 1 mM DTT and 0.1 mM PMSF.
