Background
Cyclins are important in regulating the cell cycle through their formation of enzymatic complexes with various cyclin-dependent kinases. P19(INK4d) also kowns as cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2D, is one of the novel members of the mouse INK4 gene family. Okuda et al. (1995) described the cloning of the human INK4d gene (CDKN2D). The predicted 166-amino acid protein is 86% identical to the mouse protein and about 45% identical to other human INK4 family members.

Specificity/Sensitivity: Human. No cross reactivity with other proteins.
Applications: Western blot: At 0.5-1 ug/ml with the appropriate system to detect p19INK4d in cells and tissues. Immunohistochemistry(P): At 1-2ug/ml to detect p19INK4d in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Immunohistochemistry(F): At 1-2?g/ml to detect P16 in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues.
Reactivity: Human.
Immunogen: Recombinant human p19INK4d.
Purification: Purified by the goat anti-mouse IgG affinity chromatography.
Form of Antibody: Lyophilized from 1.2% sodium acetate, with 2 mg BSA and 0.01 mg NaN3 as preservative.

Isotype: Mouse IgG1.
Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
