Introduction
Nth has an apurinic and/or apyrimidinic endonuclease activity and a DNA N-glycosylase activity. This enzyme cuts impaired DNA at cytosines, thymines and guanines. Nth acts on a damaged strand, 5' from the damaged site. Nth is vital for the restoration of both oxidative DNA damage and spontaneous mutagenic lesions.

A single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 231 amino acids (1-211a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 25.7 kDa.
Purity: > 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The NTH solution (0.5 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 0.1 M NaCl, 1 mM DTT, 0.1 mM PMSF and 40% glycerol.
Shipping: The product is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
