Introduction
MYL4 is a hexameric ATPase cellular motor protein which is composed of two nonphosphorylatable alkali light chains, two heavy chains and two phosphorylatable regulatory light chains. MYL4 encodes a myosin alkali light chain which is located in embryonic muscle and adult atria. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein were found for this gene.
BP002374-PRO-992: Recombinant Human Myosin Light Chain 4 (MYL4) Protein
Source: E. coli-derived.
Recombinant Human MYL4 protein is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 205 amino acids (1-197 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 22.6 kDa. MYL4 protein is fused to an 8 amino acid His-tag at C-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
