Source: HEK 293-derived.
A proform of the Human MMP-2 (Ala30-Cys660) and fused with a ployhistide tag at the C-terminus, having an Mw of 71 kDa.
The activity was measured by its ability to cleave the colorimetric peptide substrate, Mca-PLGL-DpaAR-NH2, The specific activity is > 1,000 pmoles/min/µg.
Purity: > 95% by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The MMP-2 is supplied as a 0.2 um filtered solution in 20 mM Tris-HCl, 150 mM NaCl and 0.05% Brij 35, pH 7.4.
