Introduction
LGALSL is a 172 amino acid protein which holds one galectin domain. LGALSL doesn? bind carbohydrates or lactose since the residues crucial for binding are not conserved.

A single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 196 amino acids (1-172) and having a molecular mass of 21.6 kDa. The LGALSL is fused to a 24 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus.
Purity: > 85% by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The LGALSL solution (1 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 2 mM DTT, 0.1 M NaCl and 10% glycerol.
