Introduction
Left-Right Determination Factor 1 (LEFTY1) belongs to the TGF-beta family of proteins. LEFTY1 is required for left-right axis determination as a regulator of LEFTY2 and NODAL. An analogous secreted protein in mouse has a role in left-right asymmetry determination of organ systems during development. The LEFTY1 gene is closely linked to both a related family member and a related pseudogene.

Recombinant Human Left-right determination factor 1 (LEFTY1) protein is a glycosylated monomer, having a total molecular weight of 38 kDa.
Purity: > 90% as obsereved by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: lyophilized from 1 mg/ml in 1xPBS.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized LEFTY1 in sterile water not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
