Description

Introduction
LCMT1 is a member of the LCMT family, methyltransferase superfamily. LCMT1 catalyzes the methylation of the carboxyl group of the C-terminal leucine residue (leu309) of the catalytic subunit of protein phosphatase-2A to form alpha-leucine ester residues.

A single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 358 amino acids (1-334) and having a molecular mass of 41 kDa. LCMT1 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus.
Purity: > 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The LCMT1 solution (1 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 10% glycerol, 1 mM DTT and 0.15 M NaCl.
