BP003400: Human EPO/Erythropoietin Protein with No Tag
Source: The recombinant Human EPO/Erythropoietin Protein, (amino acids Ala28-Arg193) fused with No Tag, was produced in HEK 293 cells.
Molecular Weight:The recombinant Human EPO/Erythropoietin Protein has a predicted MW of 18.39 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 35-45 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Human EPO, No tag at 1 ug/ml (100 ul/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for the recombinant Human EPO R, hFc tag with the EC50 of 29.7 ng/ml determined by ELISA.
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human EPO/Erythropoietin Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
Shipping: The recombinant Human EPO/Erythropoietin Protein is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
