Introduction
Heat Shock Protein B9 (HSPB9) is a member of the small heat shock protein (HSP20) family. HSPB9 is found in the cytoplasm as well as in the nucleus. HSPB9 is expressed specifically in the testis.

Recombinant Human HSPB9 protein is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 179 amino acids (1-159 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 19.6 kDa. HSPB9 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The HSPB9 solution (0.25 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 50% glycerol, 0.2 M NaCl and 2 mM DTT.
